Calphalon Stainless Steel 8-Quart Multi-Pot 4-Piece Set
This pot does it all! The 8-quart, multipurpose stainless steel pot is versatile enough for soups, stews, sauces and more. It''s constructed of 18/10 stainless steel, has large loop handles for easy lifting and a thick aluminum bottom core that conducts heat evenly. The pasta drainer/deep steamer insert is super for cooking and draining pasta, steaming corn, shellfish and large amounts of vegetables. Roomy handles make it easy to lift, even with oven mitts. Vegetable steamer insert is ideal for steaming vegetables and doubles as a small colander. The tempered glass cover lets you monitor your cooking. Dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended. 10-year warranty.

Product Update
In addition to my previous review - after owning the pot for less than a year, the lid fell from a bottom shelf about 4 inches to the ground and all the glass smashed. I love being able to see through a glass lid, but a metal one would never have broken...

Almost great
We got this set for a wedding gift. I cook a lot, and the design and function of this pot is really great. One major flaw is that the lid is not vented. So steam builds up under the lid and makes it sputter all over the range. So steaming broccoli, spinach, or boiling water, cooking soup - it ends up all over and makes quite a mess. We'll be buying a new one with vents as soon as we find a set.

Almost a great pot!
This set is almost perfect, BUT the lid is not vented. So steam builds up inside (even when not boiling) and pushes at the top making it sputter all over your range and makes a terrible mess. It's the best one I have for now, but I will be replacing it with a vented combo. Make sure to find a set that either has a small vent in the top or as a spout gap.

I love the set. I also love Calphalon pans. They are great. I am excited to cook more at home with my new pots and pans. If your looking for a good set this one is. Thanks
