Maybe.......
Maybe this should not be under the ALL CLAD umbrella being that it really isn't a Stainless steel / Aluminum / Stainless steel construction.

Great Addition to my cookware!
Cooking anything from steamed seafood or veggies to a pot of stew this pot is excellent. Cooking on low heat as I usually do it cooks evenly. I cook everything in it, greens, peas, seafood, cabbage, corn with the choice of a shallow or deep basket. Versatility is the best thing I can say about the product. You won't regret purchasing !

Worth the Cost & Very Versatile
1. PRO: Large Size, ideal for soups, stocks, corn, pasta, chili, steaming lobsters, crabs, mussels, etc. CON: Cumbersome, may not fit easily into dishwasher or smaller sinks.
2. PRO: Mid-weight, you can actually lift this, filled. CON: this is NOT fully cald, i.e. the side walls lack aluminum core for upward conduction of heat.
3. PRO: All-Clad name looks impressive on my Viking range staged beneath the pot filler. CON: Made in China, quality overall is inconsistent w/ USA-made All Clad.
4. PRO: Clean strainer baskets by immediately soaking in warm soapy water. CON: If too difficult, use a colander instead -it worked for Grandma.
5. PRO: The price is right. CON: You get what you pay for.
There isn't much else offered in the All Clad stainless steel line at this price point - so if you find the baskets too difficult to clean, don't use them. This pot does many things well, even without them. You still have a HUGE stockpot, serviceable, manageable, & matches your other All Clad. Flaws notwithstanding, I'd still recommend.

Favorite new addition to our All-Clad set
When my husband picked this out, I was doubtful. What would we ever use all this stuff for? Silly me! This is the best, most versatile piece of cookware ever! Corn on the cob comes out crisp, not soggy, when we steam it in one of the baskets. Ditto green beans or broccoli. We use it as a stockpot, without the baskets, for making large quantities of ratatouille or spaghetti sauce. Seriously, this is a piece of cookware we can't do without. I'm giving it as a wedding gift for friends who are just starting out and love All-Clad as much as we do. Well worth the price. It will last forever.
