Okay
One of my dogs loves this as a bed, the other loves it as a toy. He's a chihuahua that is all of 7lbs and he treats the bed like a stuffed animal he has just killed so he has managed to rip right through and makes a mess of the stuffing. It is thin, however, they love it so I am going to buy 2 more - they won't share at the the same time. Previous review mentions adding a layer in between.. definately would do that.

You get what you pay for.
Don't get me wrong, my dog loved this bed. However, you do get what you pay for.
There is a minimum amount of fill in the bed, it goes flat very quickly. As great as it is to be able to take the cover off to wash, it is not waterproof, and therefore, if there is an accident, the liquids go straight through. You cannot wash the filling and will have basically wasted your money.
My recommendation..... if you want to get this bed, invest in some crib mattress protectors and place them under the cover. We ultimately had to buy a newer bed, and I spent more money for something that was washable and waterproof.
