Not a quality product
After debating which brand to go with for our dinnerware, we decided to put the Pfaltzgraff County Cupboard set on our wedding registry. Both my mom and mother-in-law have had good experiences with Pfaltzgraff products, and I expected to have the same. Unfortunately, after only using these dishes for four months, my husband and I have noticed considerable wear. We take very good care of our dinnerware, hand-washing everything. Yet, there are scratches and chips on almost every piece in the set. The set also seems to lack the "heft" I associate with a quality Pfaltzgraff product. The design and pattern is lovely, but the craftsmanship on this product is SEVERELY lacking. What a disappointment. We are already looking for a new set already.

1 star for looks only!
I loved the look of these dishes but that are terrible!! I still like the look of them but the quality is terrible. They chip very easily & the worst part is that some of my pieces get extremely HOT if put in the microwave. No kidding you can burn your hand getting the piece out. I have to use pot holders all the time with them. So I will be going back to my other dishes.

These plates are ok
I love the way these plates look. I have to let you know that when you heat these plates & mugs in the microwave for a SMALL length of time they get VERY HOT! To the point were I need a towel to take out of microwave.
Plus I've had them for about 3months and they are beginning to chip already. Not good!
