Black Wood Frames (Set of 4)
Solid wood frames are finished in a deep ebony. May be hung for horizontal or vertical display. Each frame features a white beveled mat. 8'' x 10'' frame has a 5'' x 7'' opening when matted and the 11'' x 14'' frame has an 8'' x 10'' opening when matted. Mat can be removed to hold a large photo. Attached hardware for wall or tabletop display.

Didn't come with hanging hardware!
Make sure to check if yours have the hanging hardware before you buy! Now I have to go all the way back to the store to get ones that *hopefully* will have the hanging hardware. Major bummer when you have a young baby.

cheap frames
We bought the black 8X10 set as the photo frame set we bought from another store did not have sufficient 8X10 frames, and had no ala carte options. Although I paid much less for the other set($2 a frame), their quality was much higher.
Bottomline- these frames look cheap. the 'wood' frame part was badly scratched or crushed in at points, and I had to sift through different sets to get together my set of relatively pretty frames. The paint on the frame looks cheap and has little or no gloss. The backing must be cardboard, it doesn't feel sturdy. You'd best hang them, as we found the wood edge on the back of the frame too narrow to put the photo hanging scotch/command strips.
I would only recommend buying these frames if they will be viewed from more than just a few feet away.

Happy Child
I purchased these frames to display my son’s artwork. I found that I had to be careful taking the backing out as it was a snug fit. I used two with the mat, for the smaller pieces and two without. I was able to hang them both horizontally and vertically since the hangers came installed for both orientations. These were not the highest quality frames I have ever purchased but overall these were a good value for the money. My son loves how it looks and so do I.
