LOVE THIS POT
THIS 5 QT. SAUCIER WAS ONE OF THE FIRST PIECES OF CALPHALON I EVER RECEIVED. I LOVED IT AND USED IT ALL THE TIME. IN 2005 I LOST IT TO HURRICANE RITA AND HAVE LOOKED FOR A REPLACEMENT SINCE. I FINALLY FOUND THIS ONE ONLINE AND AM THRILLED. I LOVE IT SO MUCH THAT I BOUGHT ONE FOR MY DAUGHTER'S CHRISTMAS GIFT!!

Great quality but handles do not stay cool
We recently received the 11-piece Contemporary Nonstick set for our wedding. We liked it so much that we decided to get the 5 quart Saucier to complete it. It looks and works great - the nonstick surface is by far the best we've used. However, the one drawback that I've noticed is that the handles (on this pot as well as on some of the other pieces from the 11 piece set) do not stay quite as cool as it describes and not as cool as I'd like as I still have to use potholders to move it off of the stove top. I noticed that the Simply Calphalon line has a different type of handle that in my experience tends to stay cooler better. The handles on the Contemporary set look nicer but maybe this is something that Calphalon can improve on this line going forward.
