Noticeably different taste of tap water
I had recently bought other water filtration pitchers for my home and they were all just ok, some didn't change any of the taste of tap water. I could always taste the chlorine in my tap water and I didn't like it, so I spent so much money on bottled water. Mavea XL Water Pitcher was a product I never tried before and it is more money than it's competitors but it is significantly better. I can't tell the difference between bottled water and the water that comes from a Mavea Pitcher. It is nice because it also has a quality check for your water from 100 - 0% so you know when you need to change your filter if you use it a lot and need to change it sooner than it's recommended time frame. The XL holds enough water for about 3-4 large glasses and it is a little heavy when full. I would recommend it for a family, but they have smaller sizes if it's just you or one other person using the pitcher. I had also made the mistake of leaving my full pitcher on the edge of a shelf on my fridge so when my family member open the fridge it fell and cracked, it cracked from about a height of 4ft. I ended up buying it again regardless. I have dropped a competitors water pitcher from about the same height and it also cracked. So I don't see this as too big of a flaw. Overall, I would recommend this product to someone who wants a noticeable difference in the quality and taste of their tap water.
