Magnetic spice rack is a neat way to display your spice tins keeping them handy and stylish looking. The magnets on the bottom of each tin hold them to the rack. Magnet on the back of the rack allows you to place it on a magnetic surface. Once tins are empty (or purchase more separately), rack can be used in a work shop or office when you fill the tins with screws or paper clips. Rack measures 16 1/2" L x 3" W. very handy
This would be the third strip of spices that I bought. I am very pleased with the purchase with functionality as well as beauty. I attached the strips horizontally on the outside of the pantry cabinet wall, so they are very close to my stove and easily accessible. I took the advice of a previous reviewer and wrote the names on the outside with a sharpie instead of using the stickers provided. I would say a great value.

space saver
I bought this because I wanted a spice rack but have limited counter space. And so far I absolutely love it. you do have to be careful with finer spices they can be a bit messsy but doesn't keep me from using it. great product!

So Cute...But
I received three magnetic spice racks on my fridge for my collection of spices as wedding gifts three years ago. I was so excited about registering for them because I like their modern look and space-saving functionality.
While both those positive traits remain true, there are two big problems.
1. The magnet is stronger than the glue holding the magnet to the spice jar. Most of my spice jars have broken away from their magnets. This causes them to occasionally fall. It's especially problematic for me because I wrote the name of the spices on the magnet with a silver Sharpie. Now that the magnets are all mixed around, my labeling doesn't work.
2. Lid problems. To open and close the spice jar lids, you spin the lid to reveal a small window. But the seal is loose enough to allow moisture in. This has essentially glued down the lid on any of my powdery spices. I ended up throwing away the jars holding garlic, curry and tumeric because the lids wouldn't spin or pop off.

Really cute and modern
I hung this spice rack vertically and it looks great. It saves a ton of counterspace. Nice that the included spices came in packages so that you could use them or not. Would have been nice if the proper screws came with it.
