This a great color.
I have been waiting to replace my 30 year old dishes. I loved this color when my daughter picked the blue for her wedding registry. I planned my new house kitchen colors with these suede dishes in mind. Now that I have purchased them they have not disappointed. I love everything about them weight, size, shape and color. I am so disappointed that the color is now going to be discontinued.

Why has this color been discontinued ?
I bought these dishes for casual dining and am very happy with them but now the color has been discontinued. I am so disappointed that I can't find them anywhere. The color is so basic that it blends with anything and the dishes are practical and microwaveable and ovenproof. WHY oh WHY have you discontinued these ?

Beautiful and good quality
This pattern color is neutral yet not plain. The matte finish gives the dishes a nice finish and can easily be matched with other colors. The dishes are sturdy and can withstand the dishwasher and our large family!

Colorwave Suede
When it was time for me to replace my stoneware of 20 years, I shopped around extensively until I came upon the Noritake Colorwave dishes. I chose the Suede tone which is a tan/gold tone. Things that attracted me were the simplicity of style which also give an elegent look on either patterned or solid color placemats or table linens. The mugs are great - not too small, not too large and work pefectly for coffee, tea, or hot cider. Another thing that attracted me to these dishes were the beautiful square solid color platter as well as the round platter and serving bowl. While they're my everyday dishes, I do use them at times instead of my china as they are appealing for both casual and semi-formal dining. I have used these dishes daily for several years and do not have any chips or cracks, so all pieces I purchased are usable.
