Correction?
I'm wondering if Pizzaman is actually referring to Wusthof's Silverpoint collection, not the Grand Prix. They look the same but the Silverpoint is their low cost, lightweight version. The Grand Prix collection is much nicer and heavier. This is a great set.

Not the best choice
I bought this lower-end set thinking that the Wusthof name would at least mean good quality. Not so much. These knives are extremely thin, so, if you have household members who aren't as careful as you are, you'll find them bent or broken off at the tips. They are so lightweight that I missed the heft I get with my old KitchenAid set. And, you can't sharpen them. Ever.

Great starter set!
This was my husband's must-have from our wedding registry, and we are both reaping the benefits. This set won't disappoint! The block is attractive, and the knives are both beautiful and durable. After one year of daily use, we have only compliments towards Wusthof products. We recently purchased the stainless steel steak knives and love those as well.
