It features 5 levels of grind and 3 settings of coffee strength, as well as 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 cup digital settings that control the coffee-to-water ratio. It has an aroma function for 2-4 cups for proper brewing of small coffee quantities, a pause and serve function, and automatically prevents steam from clogging the coffee channel and grinder. The Krups Duo Filter removes chlorine and minerals and reduces limescale build-up to maintain performance. A back-lit LCD with clock and programmable timer add to its convenience. One Of The Worst Product Ever!
For the price and the maker of this product one would think quality would me paramount, not so! This product lasted just pass the warranty period. Do not buy this unit and with that said, if Krups cannot put quality and durability into their "high-end" priced products; one can only image what kind of quality and durability is in their lower end products as well. In essence, based on this experienced/product I would stay away from Krups products all together.

Not worth the money
It made great coffee while it lasted. But after a year and a half, it just stopped working. The latch on the filter lid is completely broken, it won't grind and the water won't heat. For almost $200, I was hoping that it would last longer. There are better grinder/brewers out there, don't waste your money.

not great
i have had this machine about three years and this is the third time it has been repaired or replaced . when it works, it makes great coffee. do not think i would buy another. repair service has been good, as far as that goes, and turn around is fast enough

I read all the other reviews and was surprised. I have had my coffee maker two years now and no complaints. I love it!
