Hamilton Beach Can Opener
I am very pleased with my Hamilton Beach electric can opener. What I like best is it operates very smoothly and that it makes it's cut under the rim so as not to leave a sharp edge to possibly cut yourself. It was a good buy and out does some of the more expensive openers.

HB Smooth Touch Can Opener
Best can opener I have ever owned. I love the smooth edge left after opening the can. No chance of cutting your hand with the top. I have two of them and love them.

Good for people with arthritis
I bought this can opener for my mother who has arthritis & has trouble using can openers. She was able to use this can opener very easily. Like other reviewers said, it looked like it did not open the can the first time it was used. It opens the can with no sharp edges, no mess & the lid does not drop into the can. The can opener also has a retractable cord.

poorly engineered product
I bought one of these a few years ago and it quit opening cans in less than a year. In August 2012 I bought a new one thinking the cutting blade had been improved. Wrong... Here it is in May 2013 and it has stopped opening cans. Goes around 3-4 times and then you have to pry off the lid with a bottle opener. I will never buy another one. Into the trash......
