Great knife for the price
This knife slices easily through a homemade loaf of bread. No sawing or tearing, it makes a nice clean cut. Excellent on tomatoes and other soft vegetables. I did notice a bit of tearing when used on carrots and parsnips.
After a long search comparing top of the line chef knives like mac and global, I settled on this inexpensive knife to get me through the last few semesters before graduating. I think I got a great deal, and though it can't compare to the beauty and balance of knives in the uper 200's and above, it handles itself very nicely and is a great alternative for the those with a tight budget.
