Very disappointing
Perhaps mine are just defective, but I found them to be IMPOSSIBLE to fill! When I put the peppercorns into the VERY tiny compartment, they only fill the reservoir which reconnects the pieces, so the ends won't go back together... I've even tried using a straw to keep the little hole from getting blocked, but had little luck. Either this is a massive oversight in the design, or mine simply were assembled incorrectly.... either way, I'm returning them since they only hold a few tablespoons of spice, anyway.

Cool, but impractical.
This electric salt & pepper mill set look great and work fine. They EACH take 6 AAA batteries and they hold hardly any salt and pepper. They are cool to use, and my electronic-loving husband loves them, but I'm afraid I'll be changing both the batteries and the salt/pepper way too often!

Good Purchase
I made this purchase to replace a 40 year old salt shaker and pepper mill. This set works great. I like the idea of filling it with sea salt crystals. Being battery powered (12 AAA batteries) makes it easy to work with. The adjustments to make the your favorite grind are defiantly a plus. It's a quality product. If there is one negative about this it only holds about 1/4 the amount to salt and pepper that my old one did, which means more frequent filling. I will give this item a 4.5 out of 5...
