Just what the doctor ordered
Performs as claimed and that's a rarity now-a-days.
Have not had a sticking or cleaning issue yet.
Cooks quickly and evenly (on both sides)
Waffles can be left in a tad longer for crisper results though careful monitoring is suggested.
Iron arrived on time and was well worth the $.

Couldn't ask for more
This iron is exactly what I had hoped for. It has a dedicated space on my counter, so I don't use the lock feature much, but I am glad it's there for times when this will go into a cupboard. I use the darkest setting and then crisp waffles in the oven for 5-10 min. One waffle is a nice breakfast for two. Beware, if you use buttermilk batter, 1-1.5 c is more than enough, otherwise you will have an overflow situation on your hands.

Outstanding Wafflemaker
This product exceeds all expectations for a wafflemaker. I have used commercial and many home waffle makers and none came lose to the performance of the Calphalon Waffle Maker. I use King Flour Pancake and Waffle Mix and double the amount of butter for waffles, as recommended. Medium setting produces multiple crisp waffles all morning long. Highly recommended!
