Cook Pro 13" Thin Cast Iron Wok
This super thin cast iron wok is about 50% lighter than traditional cast iron cookware. As a result, it conducts heat faster while also helping to prevent the kinds of hot spots that lead to uneven cooking. Stainless steel handle stays cool during cooking. Exterior is coated with silicon to prevent rust. Oven safe. Hand wash only. Lifetime warranty.

Great Wok
I love this wok. It isn't just great for normal wok cooking but really has many applications. It does work great as a wok and keeps a very even temperature. Not that heavy considering it is cast iron.

Not so sure
This is an excellent pan and very good for stir fry. Its large and handy, and can fit a whole box of pasta and as much vegetables.
However, after use, I handwashed and let it dry in the dish drainer. The next day I went to put it away and discovered rust along the inside bottom of the pan. Not a gray residue, but red-orange rust. I immediately cleaned it again and dried it, and later found more rust (though not as much as when it drip dried)
It is, as I said, a great cooking pan, but we have to very thoroughly dry immediately after cleaning, or it will rust. Not as easy to take care of as a regular pan.

Wonderful purchase for stir frys
This thin cast iron wok works exactly as advertised and saves all splattering mess on the stove top from stir frying. It's a pleasure to use. I am quite baffled by the only review I find here, and wonder if that reviewer has ever cooked with cast iron before. When I wipe my wok down after use, the gray stuff that "sheds" is obviously cooking oil that has interacted with the iron pan. It's not a coating, although you are in fact trying to build up a bit of a coating. The OUTSIDE of the pan has a deliberate silicone coating to prevent food spills from sticking to the outside, but that's entirely different. When you're seasoning a new heavy cast iron skillet it behaves just the way this wok does.
I'd recommend this wok/pan to anyone. I like it so much I just returned to order one as a gift and am taken aback to see such a negative review. (Wish I had the one they threw away.)

terrible purchase
We followed the directions that came with the wok for the first cleaning but the coating still came off onto the food. I threw out the food and cleaned it again following the instructions and it happened AGAIN. I've cleaned it SO many times and it still sheds this nasty grey coating so I gave up and threw it away.
