Started good, ended bad I was looking forward to having a small machine for small jobs. However, the quality of this light weight machine could not even stand the test of a straight stitch project. Yikes! The needle kept popping out, and the screw to hold it in was defective. Once the needle was in place, the screw could not reach the threads which would have allowed it to hold the needle in place. I was forced to return the machine as it was rendered unusable. I wish there was a small machine made with stability and quality! May 16, 2013
how the pixie doesn't work!! I have bought two of them and both of them didn't sew paper or fabric. I got them for small crafts, but they didn't work. I wouldn't get a pixie again. I always buy singer sewing machines, but the pixie was disapointing. October 27, 2011
Terrible Product I really wanted to get into sewing smallish projects. Things like nightgowns for my daughters. I thought this would be a great machine to start with. I used it over a few days for one project. It was constantly snapping the thread making me have to rethread it. Then the needle stopped fitting correctly into the bobbin area. I finished that project by hand. Then took the machine back. I just tried setting up the new one for the first time. Straight out of the box and it won't thread. The bobbin piece just sits there. The experience I have had with this machine has made it very hard to bother trying to continue creating a new hobby. I wish I had read the reviews on here before buying! September 24, 2011
A Nice Little Sewing Machine, Perfect For My Needs As a senior, I no longer do fancy sewing. I bought this to do straight sewing as my regular size sewing maching was going to cost too much to repair. It does a good job. I've used several of the stitches and it works well. It is also small enough to tuck into a kitchen cabinet for convenience of storage and use. March 16, 2011
