Didn't love it at first - not sure it was working,
I bought this at BBB without researching it at first. Got it home, read the directions and fired it up using the direct steam tip. Wasn't impressed ... steam was not hot at all except at the nozzle tip. Went online to look at reviews and found similar experiences. I was ready to box it up, but figured the store wasn't going to put it back out for sale, so I tried the big scrubbing mitt. For whatever reason, once the mitt was on, the steam that came out was VERY hot and largely effective. I used it to clean my kitchen mini blinds and it worked really well. The scrubby thing worked very well on the textured surface of my fridge, my range hood, and the floor. I have a tiny kitchen, so even tho it's a bit hard on my back, it is still better than a regular mop. Also, the direct steam tip work pretty well on crevices ... I just steamed with one hand and used the scrubby side of a kitchen sponge with the other.
Bottom line; if you bought this and think it doesn't work, try it with the attachment mitts before you return it. Can't say how well it holds up as I have only had it for a few days ... getting the blinds clean was worth the $80.

Skeptic turned fan
I bought this steamer and was a bit skeptical if it would really work. Well-it does! I am a renter and moved into a condo where the previous tenants did not clean too well. I took the steamer to just about everything and I love the way things look. It works especially well on stove tops, microwaves, granite counters, bathroom sinks/toilets and walls. Before the steamer, everything looked dull and had a film on it. After, everything is shiny and felt clean. This little gadget for $80 works well. I was not impressed with how it cleaned the inside of the oven, but everywhere else, I don't think you can go wrong for $80. I gave it 5 stars because for the price, it's great. Things look refreshed and clean!

Simply kicks butt
This wont work on everything but it works on most. You have to play with it alot to learn what it does but it really works makes things look brand new. Even cleans finger prints off walls. Amazing!
