Poorly made and rusts
These knives look beautiful, after just the first use, I put them in the dishwasher and they all developed rust spots ON THE FIRST time washing. I tried Brillo and this too did not remove the spots. Don't bother with this product, returning it to the store :(

Rusted after a few uses
I use knives almost everyday. These were very heavy when chopping and also started rusting after just a few uses. Just another cheap product made in China and on the way to a landfill here in America.

Rust spots
I handwash my knives - and in less than 10 days there are rust spots on the steak knives. These are made in China - they are not the good quality knives that are made in France that bear the Sabatier name. I will be returning the set tomorrow.

Handle with Care
Contrary to the previous review, I would recommend these knives. First, most GOOD QUALITY knives cannot be washed in the dishwasher. Usually the package or information sheet inside will say so (as this did), but also, it states it in the description above!!! Secondly, the knives are good quality, not great. They are a nice set for someone who is not a beginner, but also not America's Next Top Chef! My block was broken when purchased, but luckily BBB has such hassle free returns that it was no problem. Very happy to own these knives. They also look wonderful on the counter!
