Doesn't last very long I have my skillet for about 1 year now and used to love it. A few weeks ago I noticed that the non-stick coat was chipping. I was so disappointed! I take really good care of my things, and that includes my pots, pans and cookware in general. I followed every single word that was written on the instructions and didn't use any material that could damage my skillet. I used to use it about once a week and even after all of the care the coat is coming off. For the price and Cuisinart reputation I was expecting to be buying a good product. March 4, 2013
This Pot Rocks! No question this is a fabulous purchase! I could go on and on about it! If you are looking for an electric fry pan that heats evenly, can also be used as a deep fryer...this is it! Easy to keep clean! I just love it! January 18, 2013
Very messy I believe I would have been very satisfied with this skillet if only it did not spew liquid out from the sides of the lid. The rim of the lid sits on a small ledge on the sidewall of the skillet. Therefore, the steam runs onto the small ledge and "pops" out from under the lid. It was running down the sides and under the feet in a puddle. I had to put absorbent materials around the feet to keep it from running on the countertop. If Cuisinart made this with a straight sidewall and a flanged lid so that the moisture would go back into the skillet, I would buy it in a heartbeat. I thought I had finally found the kind of skillet I wanted. January 16, 2013
Again, Cuisinart has a winner I always buy Cuisinart and once again, I'm definitely not disappointed in their product. It's a beautiful addition to my kitchen cabinet. It's larger than I thought it would be but as well as cooking large family meals, I can cook breakfast for just my husband and myself with convenient ease. It cleans up with almost no effort. It fries perfectly or warms delicate cream sauces with the same perfection. It sears, sautees or does a delicate steam! August 16, 2012
