I am impressed with the amount of water that this mat can absorb, but I still have to wring it out halfway through the dishes. Dries quickly though and doesn't smell, a HUGE improvement from the wet dog dishrags I used before!

Dish drying mat
I used this at my daughter's house and loved it! However, I want a small one in red and they don't seem to have them in the stores in central Florida. HELP

YESSS!!
My kitchen has a lot of counterspace. The issue is that the space is divided around the entire kitchen in small portions and so I don't have a lot of room to dry dishes. This saves my butt every time! No more having to make dish mountains! The thing that surprised me the most - and I still give it a shifty I-don't-trust-you-look every now and then - is that it doesn't smell. I haven't put it through the washing machine yet since I've used it for three months and it smells like something just sprayed with Febreeze - super fresh! It hasn't gotten moldy or soggy in spots, it's pretty much brand new. Glad I found this!

Excellent Product
I have so enjoyed using the mat under my handwash dishes, pots, pans, etc. So much better than the soggy mess created with a dish towel. Looks neater, contains the water and cushions the counter. Only little negative comment is that, when I bought it, gray was the only color offered. I would have liked beige, at least, to coordinate with my kitchen counter better, but not a big deal. I bought two for me, one for under the drying rack and one to go along side for pots and pans or when washing china and crystal.
