Perfect Browning Pan - A Favorite My new go-to skillet for browning - PERFECT. Heavy weight but manageable. Cleans up beautifully (use Barkeeper's Friend lightly for any staining). No need to spend the extra $$ for All Clad. I plan to purchase more in the Calphalon Stainless line. [TIP: I also use this item frequently to thaw frozen foods because of its large surface area. Raise the skillet off the counter with a trivet, and place food to be thawed in the skillet. The metal will dissipate the cold, speeding thawing. Use care and do not leave frozen food on the counter for more than a couple of hours.] March 14, 2013
sticky pan perhaps this came from my inexperience with stainless steel, but this pan needs a lot of oil to prevent staining and sticking. January 7, 2013
