great but too small
I love this toilet tissue holder but it is too small for the quilted northern ultra plush rolls. I'ts 5 1/2 inches including the rim which means the roll of TP has to be smaller. Just really disappointed because I really liked. it. It needs to be 6 inches. I know... just get smaller rolls. :(

Good with one big fixable flaw & a small flaw
We had a 5" inch reserve just like this but with all these new Jumbo rolls, it's worthless. This was the first 6" reserve I found, and after using it, I wouldn't go even a half inch smaller. The new CostCo rolls only barely fit.
I bought two of these at a San Jose BBB and they both had the following issues:
The Tissue Reserve looks good from the outside. However, when I dropped the rolls in, they got stuck halfway down. It's got a 6" diameter opening so I was surprised. Turns out there is a black vinyl sleeve in the interior that makes the cylinder slightly narrower towards the bottom. Someone didn't measure properly when they made the vinyl insert. Anyway, it takes about 20 seconds to press around on the bottom of the vinyl and rip it out. The inside looks better without the black vinyl in my opinion. Now it's usable.
The last minor flaw is that it's a little too short for 3 rolls. Ripping out the vinyl helps a little, but the hat is always resting on the top roll instead of the rim of the reserve.
Oh wel, you can't see any tissue.
Overall, I recommend it bc it looks great and fits the bigger rolls that are all the rage these days.
5 Stars for creating a 6" diameter tissue reserve but...
Minus two stars for:
1. Manufacturing defect with the narrowing black vinyl and lack of testing.
2. Design defect in making it too short for 3 rolls to fit perfectly.
