Looks Great and Works Even Better
My former bodum french press was the standard model. This one is a lot nicer to look at and works just as well. I did have problems with the former bodum glass beaker--it broke in the dishwasher twice. The current one is holding up so far.

Love it
I ordered this for my husband. He loves coffee from a press. I ordered this because of the extra protection around the glass carafe. The carafe itself is still vulnerable to easy breakage but while in the holder it does seem to have more protection.
