Bialetti......The original and the best
It's important to note (and thus not be disappointed when your espresso maker arrives) that this makes one DEMITASSE cup (the small cups made for espresso); it does NOT make an 8 ounce cup. If you need a larger size for entertaining, I'd order the 3 cup or a larger size. The one cup size is PERFECT for one person. This is the original Bialetti I grew up with ; my parents ONLY bought this brand of espresso maker and swore by it. Note that they grew up with and drank espresso before it become popular in the states so they know what they're talking about. Make sure NOT to wash it in the dishwasher, though. It will discolor and lose its shiny finish. Not a big deal just not very appealing to look at. Trust me, you don't need the big, fancy machines unless you have oodles of money at your disposal . This works just fine, is easy to use and clean, and it's what those of us who have been drinking espresso for generations use. Buy it.

Shocked!
I thought I ordered something nice.......it arrived small enough to fit in a doll house! Says to use it on the stove burner ~~~~ I have a gas stove......it won't work on our stove! Total waste of money and huge dissapointment in my house!!!!!!!!!!

Single brewer
My parents who have used a stove top brewer all their lives and swear by their espresso were satisfied with this Espresso Machine. They needed to brew twice each morning, but they didn't seem to mind. It does the job well despite the low profile. I needed a stove top brewer quick and this was the easiest option, however if I were to buy again I would go with something that brews multiple servings.

So Cute, So Fun
Love this espresso maker! I almost want to buy the 6-cup version, only that would just encourage me to drink more espresso and God only knows my husband probably doesn't want me bouncy off the walls every day! I recommend trying this product!
