Great Gift!
I purchased this can for my son and daughter-in-law and my mother for Christmas. I couldn't wait to give it to my mom because her old step can was broken and she wouldn't quit using it. They are both very happy with it. Now I just need to buy myself one!

Great Product
If you have to have a kitchen trash can out in the open, this is a great one to have despite the cost. Looks great with fingerprint proof stainless steel. Really like the longer foot pedal as it's more easily accessible from different angles (however, pedal has acquired a few small scratches from shoes hence the 4 star rating). Bag liners fit perfectly and can't be seen from the outside of the can. An odor control device inside would be helpful because the can does hold a lot of trash. The red button inside is convenient as it holds the lid open when needed. Love the automatic slow & quiet closing lid. Even though the hinge to the lid is inside, I have to keep the can a few inches away from my island or it hits the towel rod. Overall, it was a great purchase for the limited placement options I have.

This is a deluxe trash can!
I have wanted this trash can for a whole year and it was worth the wait! I still feel a little ashamed of myself for spending so much on a trash can but it works in the space so much better than the old round one I used to have...it fits nicely up against the wall and doesn't move around every time I open it, and the lid isn't constantly banging the wall like my other one did. The finish really does resist fingerprints...so far I've only had to wipe it down once in the two weeks I've had it and all marks wiped away easily. I just use regular tall kitchen trash bags which work fine. I also like the quiet close lid which I didn't even realize was a feature when I purchased.
