Thanks for the advice!
Just purchased both the 37 and the 32 inch fans a couple of days ago so that i don't have to constantly run AC. Am really happy with them (so far), though the 37 inch seems to be more powerful than the 32. I like the small footprint and appearance too. After reading these reviews, though, I'll make sure to save the boxes and my receipt, just in case!!

UNBELIEVABLE PIECE OF JUNK -- DIED THE SECOND DAY
New unsealed package. Worked fine yesterday, died completely today -- the second day.
DON'T EVEN THINK OF BUYING A LASKO FAN.
BBB, what are you doing carrying products that are so unreliable?? Stock some better-performing brands of tower fans.

Afraid
I just bought this fan I had the Mini version and after 1 week the low speed went out so I returned it back to my local retail store and bought the 37" one and so far NO PROBLEMS I was in hawaii visiting friends and they had the same one and there is something about the whistle the fan produces that helps me sleep and after reading all the negative reviews I am nervous but I used my American Express card so I am not worried about the warranty or exchange.... Does anyone have recomendations for a fan that has the same whistle sound cause mine is peaceful and great so far i guess I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed

Stopped oscillating in less than a month
The fan started out great, I was very happy with it, and was planning to buy a second one. Then it simply stopped oscillating. There are no troubleshooting instructions for this problem. The company could not help me to troubleshoot it. Since I was not able to find the receipt, I was not able to return it. The fan is still working but without the oscillation, it is very unsatisfactory.
