Overall Pleased.
I purchased this because my daughter was sick this morning and I have gone back and forth on spending $100+ on a humidifier. I check the 2 ratings here and the ratings for this on Amazon. I was a little concerned about the previous review stating interference with TV remotes. I have had not one issue with that and it is in my living room and we ALWAYS have a TV on. This thing is basically silent while it is running. Plenty of visible mist. I bought the filter since I didn't want to buy distilled water for constant filling. My only reason for docking it one star was the fact that warm mist is a little reaching. More like "not as cool" mist. Other than that no issues. Now this states not to add medicine or essential oils and I didn't read that prior to adding some to it. I will say that my whole living room smells pretty menthol right now and my daughter is blowing her nose and not as congested. So perhaps it isn't the best for it, but it did work it in. I also read reviews on awkward filling and it not having a handle. The top does indeed have a handle and I didn't find filling it an issue at all.

Tv remote interference
Purchased this humidifier last week. Works fine if in an area NOT using a TV remote control. Every time I change a channel or use the volume control the humidifier beeps and changes settings. Tried bringing the humidifier to another home with totally different TV and cable provider. Same result. My husband is a channel changer and is constantly adjusting the volume creating a constant shrill beeping. Back it goes tomorrow. I will say that beyond the interference problem the thing works just fine. Very quiet.

just bought it
I bought it yesterday (10/5/2012), and I am happy with it so far. I like the touch pad, easy to clean. Consumer Report also recommend this model with dial. I hope to provide an update in a few months.
