Just what I have been looking for
Very nice ivory color, not bright white and I prefer the ivory. More of a beige tint than cream. Weight in between light Corelle and heavier stonewear like Pfalzgraff. Some have minor flecks or tiny rough areas in the glaze but I know you do not get a huge set of nice Oneida dishes for 70$ if they are perfect! I asked many people and no one noticed the flaws unless I pointed them out. This is exactly what I have been looking for - a nice large set of everyday white dinnerware that will dress up with nice linens , flowers etc for parties! Good value for the price too.

Oneida Westerly Basket
I recently purchased the Oneida Westerly Basket dishes. My (very) old Independence Iron Stone set had seen better days and it was time to update to a lighter weight set. Westerly Basket is elegant, practical and sets a beautiful table. However, I wish additional serving pieces were available.

Oneida dinnerware
I was disappointed in the color of the dishes, they were not a true white my like a very light Ivory.
The quality on there glazing was extremely poor. there were black dots, and i had to have on plate replaced because it was not completely glazed, and had a scratch across it. I expected more from both bed bath and beyond and Oneida. This is what happens when you buy sight unseen.

Get what you pay for
My husband and I wanted a large set that would serve 8 people but were hoping not to spend more than $100. I wanted something very basic, white that could mix and match with other pieces. My husband talked me into this set, not what I was looking for but he liked them a lot. Well we got them home and the first mug I took out had a chip and several plates and bowls had flecks of black in them. We returned it right away. Luckily, the people at Bed Bath & Beyond were very nice and let us exchange it with a different box. Unfortunately, the new box had several broken pieces and had flecks of black in them as well. We took pieces from both boxes to get a complete set.
Once we got it home and put them in the washer, we realized the plates didn't fit in the washer. The website and box say the plates at 10 1/2 inches. But after taking my measuring tape out, they are actually 11 inches. I am taking them back today.
Not a great experience with the actual product though Bed Bath & Beyond people were very nice.
