Waterford® Lismore Essence Saucer Champagne Glasses
A more modern interpretation of the signature Lismore pattern, Lismore Essence features long stemmed glassware detailed with understated diamond and wedge cuts. Although crisply contemporary, this Essence Champagne Saucer features the broad rim and shallow depth first created in the 19th century to prevent chorus girls from getting the hiccups. It serves as a stunning canvas for the Lismore Essence pattern. Each glass measures 4 3/4" diameter x 7" H. Hand wash. Imported.

Nice stemware, just too big for my liking
Quality- Waterford crystal; nice quality stemware, "very pretty" to look at
Functionality- not great. It's too big. It's dimensions are: height of stem- 7in, diameter of cup- 4.75 inches, whereas the "standard" champagne coupe (saucer) glasses I'm used to are: height- 5.5 in, diameter of cup- 3.33 inches. So, this glass is 2 inches taller and 1.5 inches bigger in diameter. I think it would be a nice glass for one to serve "yogurt/berries or a parfait" in at a cocktail party, sort of as an appetizer or dessert.. But not champagne or a beverage, because its just too big."
Hope that helps!
