These pans are a great lifetime investment!
As a young, single girl who loved to cook, I bought a starter set of all-clad pans in my midtwenties (used my tax rebate) and over the years I have purchased each pan featured in this set to complete my very own!! Now, at the blossoming age of 52, married, <1 kid in college another not far behind>I can tell you I have been in love with these high quality pans forever! They conduct heat evenly and are extremely durable. I recommend all-clad pans as a wedding gift! If you love to cook and cook a great deal I say go for it! You will not regret the investment!! One thing worth mentioning is the weight of each pan can be challenging when draining large stock pot for instance, but with a little assistance or pre planing ahead of time it's a small nuisance for a bid pay off.
