Better than expected
The picture online does not show the comforter, just the quilt, which had me and my husband unsure of this purchase. The comforter is a soft solid design, it is like the lighter lilac throw pillow with the design on it. It has the slight stitched puckers which give it some elegance. There are 2 sets of standard pillow shams, one that match the comforter and one that match the quilt. So you could interchange them. The comforter is a tad thin, so you might need additional blankets, however the quilt is thicker than expected: heavy and soft. We just got it today, but it adds a touch of simple elegance to our room plus it is machine washable. Would highly recommend.
