Pretty Good
I had a smaller pair of grinders that melted when they were left on my stove top. I ordered these hoping that the Stainless wouldn't melt. These turned out to be stainless or silver color with plastic or acrylic underneath. The finish has puckered a little from being near the stove surface, but now they have a permanent place on the dining table. The mechanics are excellent, just was hoping for indistructablity!
