design flaw
I've read the reviews and the "after X weeks" failure/ stopped working comments are unfortunately very familiar to me.. This problem can be due to two things -- The first one is the calcification of the unit due to your water supply -- simple fix is to remove the k cup and add a disltiled solution of white vinagar to the water resevour (one ounce to one 8oz cup of water) and put it threw the cycle -- then flush with at least 3 more cups of plainwater -- However, if that does not resolve the problem --the design flaw comes into play. -- keeping in mind that the coffee being used is a very, very fine grind and a hollow needle basically is used to not only puncture the top and bottom of the k cup but also to feed hot water to the K cup-- simply put -- the fine grind clogs up the hollow needle to the extent that one must use a paper clip to free up the clog and then flush the unit without a k cup at least 5 times -- you can see the fine grinds coming out--first as a clump and then slowly but surely--it helps to see them if you use a white cup. I have managed to keep mine going for 6 months using the two fixes I described--and I drink approx 5 to 6 cups a day. Needless to say the less per day consumption would extend the use time -- probaly just long enough to miss the gaurentee deadline-- lots of luck.

Ruined my morning!
I received this as a gift from my Mom December 2012. I liked the idea of having one of these fancy things but couldn't justify spending over $100 on a "coffeemaker". My thoughts were my 4 cup $15 one did the trick just fine (I've had it for over 6 years). This machine stopped working two weeks ago (I don't use it everyday). Hopefully, I can take it back and get another product. I hate my Mom spent the money she did on this. Right now, it's just a paperweight until I can get home tonite to return it.

Failed out of the box
I bought the Keurig Platinum Summer of '10, lasted until Nov '13 when it finally died, heated water then nothing came out. Bought the Cuisinart SS-700 and so far it's worked well every time so I thought I would buy the SS-300 for work. Received yesterday but didn't make it past the cleaning cycle. Returning today and will try the Tassimo but more likely Starbucks.

Good coffee but not hot
I purchased this product based on reviews. My only disappointment is the coffee is not "piping" hot. I enjoy a hotter cup of coffee. I like the look of it, the size & the ease of using it. If only Cuisinart could make it hotter I would have given it 5 stars.
