Very happy with this..
I left a review earlier and wanted to give this a 1 star because I couldn't get the top off. Videos on the internet and even the instructions and box showed the top off. Heck, you at least need to open the top to pour out. I used 3 people, tried to get a pair of pliers on it, and was about to give up. It finally gave way! My wrist is a bit sore now, though. Now that I'm using it I'm very happy.
I took off one star because of how frustrating it was to initially get my top off. The knob to grip on top isn't that tall and it's hard to get your hands in there. So, if you get a "tight" one like I did, rest assured it will get off if you get your hand in the right spot to twist.
The plastic container seems strong.. ie thick and well made. Other people have reported they worry about holding it by the handle, because it's not connected to the bottom. I worry not. It feels secure to me and doesn't jiggle or seem loose. I am not sure about repeated use, but right now I'm very confident.
The mesh on the tea infuser is very fine and no debris gets into my tea.
So far I made one batch of tea. How about a cost comparison to buying store bought tea? I spent $10.80 on about 2.5 ounces of flavored black tea. 2 ounces has around 25 - 30 teaspoons of tea. So, let's say I got 32 teaspoons (you'll see why in a second).. So, if you figure I used about 4 teaspoons for my tea, that makes 8 pitchers worth of tea. 2.9 quarts is roughly 3/4 of a gallon. If I did my math right 8 pitchers is about 6 gallons.. 1 gallon of tea costs me $1.99 on sale and cheap brand. A name brand like Turkey Hill costs a little more usually. If you do the math that way and add in the price of a little sugar I think it's very cost effective. I'm going to buy a second pitcher and reuse my tea leaves twice.

Excellent gift
We received this as a house warming gift. Great infuser. We used frozen berry to infuse. We love the fact we can use loose leaf tea. (He loves buying all these loose leaf teas). The handle is a little giving which might make one worry but I always hold pitchers by bottom and the handle.
Put it on your registries, and gift it as gifts. It's a great buy.

This is our fav for iced teas
Great pitcher. It was such a process to make iced teas from loose teas before. I make a huge batch in this every 2 days and its soo much better and saves me soo much from not having to buy them non-stop from Starbucks.

Love It !!!!!!!
The Primula Flavor Infusion Pitcher is by far my favorite summertime purchase. Living on the beach I have company over every weekend in the summer, making my entertaining seem never ending. The fruit infuser makes the best sangria and all of my guests agree. Love it !!!!!!
