Dark Colors?
We recently moved and decided to go out on a limb and buy a robotic vacuum. We had no idea that the limb was so week! The vacuum works great on light colored floors, but if you have dark colored floors or let’s say an area rug with different accent colors the vacuum gets very confused. It thinks that it is falling off a set of stairs or perhaps maybe even a black hole when it senses a dark color. The built in drop sensors are a complete flaw, built in to keep the vacuum from going off the stairs but also interprets black Colored Square’s in a rug as the end of the earth. We called customer service to see if the drop sensors could be disabled since we do not have a multi-level home and the chance of the vacuum going off a set of stairs was zero. That didn’t go as planned, customer service was well aware of the problem with dark colors and simply said “nope there is nothing that can be done, it will not vacuum over dark colors and the drop sensors cannot be disabled”. So, back to the store it goes. We will have to go back to the traditional vacuum that does not have the fear of falling into the black hole in our living room.

Great Little Helper!
Best way too keep my floors clean!
I live in the country and my family tracks in a lot of dirt. We also have 3 cats and 2 dogs. This little vac handles picking up just about everything (including small stones) - on both carpeted and hardwood floors. I love the fact that it is extremely gentle around my furniture and doesn't bang into it. Yes, it does get stuck sometimes; but, I would rather deal with that than to have my furniture ruined.
I do believe there is room for improvement. A higher tech look is in order along with the ability to "see" small objects on the floor and go around them. An edge cleaning feature would also be nice ... for now I'll continue to use a dust mop to pull dirt into it's path. Overall though, it sure is better than sweeping the floors myself! And if you use it while your doing other household chores, it is a Great Little Helper and you don't mind having to "clear it's path" once in a while :-)

Neato Can Get the Job Done!
I've gotten the biggest kick out of this vacuum. I just set it and let it go. It works from room to room, returning to its home base when a charge is needed or when it is through. It picks up an amazing amount of material, and is well worth the price. It's far more gentle on furniture and walls than other robotic cleaners.

Loving my Neato!
I was hesitant on how well it would work, but it is the best thing I have bought in a long time. Money well spent ! It vacuums up so much hair and dust I didn't know I had. The filter bin is always full, so I know it is really sucking up the old debris. It's fun to watch it manuver around things and go back home when it is done. Like I said it is the best money I have spent in a long time!
