So Disappointed!
I sent this back after one day. I was so excited waiting to receive this item and so disappointed with it when I received it. First, since I have the Irobot Roomba vacuum (which I love) I thought Scooba would be a dream.
One major disadvantage is that unlike the Roomba vacuum which returns itself to its home base and automatically recharges itself, the scooba does not. What that means is that you will find Scooba under your bed surrounded by a puddle of water and out of power. And again unlike the Roomba vacuum which recharges and is ready to go in just a short time, the Scooba takes hours and hours to recharge again. And, you are left with a wet floor.
Also, it does a very small area meaning you cannot even do a small kitchen floor without having it stop and you have to refill it with water.
So I would not recommend this item. It took a long time to charge itself, the battery ran out quickly and all the machine seemed to do was pour water all over my floor and then never pick it back up. I tried to do a small bedroom and a small kitchen and it never completed one cycle without either running out of power or out of water. When I had to crawl under my bed on a wet floor to retrieve the scooba to recharge and fill it, I reluctantly returned it to the store. I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about. This is a great concept but in reality it did not work. Scoo boo hoo!

Fantastic - Highly Recommended
This device has gobbled up all the dirt on over 1600 sq ft of sealed flat hardwood floor. It is amazing. When it is finished you can give the floor the white glove test. I recommend restricting it to a max of 300-400 sq feet at a time so you may need some extra virtual walls. The robot is very intuitive and easy to use. Cleaning the filters and brushes is a snap with easily accessible removable parts. I wish it could do windows.
