Anyone have this problem
I love my soda maker. It keeps me from having to carry heavy bottles back from the store. However, has anyone had this problem. When I got it and used the supplied new tank of gas it worked fine. Now I'm on the trade in refills of gas and I find they don't carbonate as well as the new one one did, even if I give it extra shots of gas. I'm not sure if it's the soda maker, or the tank. I want to give it more stars but am reluctant due to this problem.
Any replies would be helpful. Maybe I just got a bad tank.
Thanks.

Unique Product
The SodaStream system is a nicely conceived product that appeals to the consumer on a number of different levels. First and foremost the soda which it produces is quite good and compares favorably with "store bought" brands and while the flavorings may not necessarily be identical to the big name brands, they are certainly close enough for my taste. Second, the elimination of the bottle carrying from the super market is a major plus and last but not least, the green aspect of not having to be concerned with the recycling of the empties is a very good thing.

Luv It
easy to use and it works great. i get a kick out of the sound when it's making the water all fizzy + fun. i luv the natural sodastream flavors [no sugar or sugar substitute or preservatives]. they come in a 3 pack that will last for months if not a year - lemon lime- orange - raspberry. i bought 4 extra water bottles so i can always have 3 flavors and a plain sparkling water on hand. i also add the flavored sparkling water to natural herbal ice tea for fun fizzy tea.

Expensive CO2 cylinders
Well made and works very well. Very easy to attach the bottle for charging with its quick connect feature. I have rated it average because of the expensive replacement cylinders, plus this model does not accept the larger carbonators. The cylinders have a proprietary valve that prevents it from being refilled at the usual places. It requires you to trade in your empty cylinder for $15 at BB&B or Walmart. There is a competing brand, Primo Flavorstation, that uses regular paintball cylinders, and those can be refilled for $4-$6. Extra paintball cylinders are also much cheaper. I paid $18 for a 20 oz. extra, compared to the approximately $50 a Sodastream 14 oz. spare cylinder costs. You can buy an adapter for about $40 that allows a paintball cylinder to be used with a Sodastream product, but not the Source. The Source will not accept the larger cylinder. It's a good product, but there is a better choice if you are buying this to save money. Even if you decide on a Sodastream it would be better to buy a model that accepts the larger carbonators.
BB&B made it easy for me to return the product with no charge for shipping. I did have to discharge the CO2 cylinder outdoors before returning, but with a weight on the valve release I did not have to sit there and hold it down while it emptied.
