Dont buy it Got a pair of these yesterday.Very disappointing! They sound tin canish no matter where i stick them or vibrate to much. I was thinking that i could just sit them inside something and it would work. wasnt thinking about the vibration and the must to use sticky pads.Sticky pads do not wash off, dirty quickly ,making speaker useless. It is fairly useless even without sticky pad problem. The wires are so short that you can barely move them anywhere. Bought them for my laptop.... i am now back to the tin can laptop speakers that are better than rock it April 9, 2013
Nifty Item. I saw these on a show i was watching and told my husband about them. We instantly went online to watch videos and read reviews. We instantly wanted one. Our only question was how it stuck. I ordered one for each of us. When they came Mine was completely dead and it had to be charged. My husband's still had juice so we could test it out. He was trying it on everything in the house. He even did it on an interior wall and it worked great. I cannot wait to show it off this summer to my family and friends. As we spend a lot of time outside. And it will be easier then dragging speakers outside. Just hook it up to your Ipod, or rather any smart phone and your good to go. On a full charge The Rock-It might last longer than your phone. March 28, 2013
better than expected. This was a birthday gift from my brother. I'm into music production, so I didn't think much of it. But the fun of this product is trying it out on different surfaces. As soon as he bought it for me, we tested it out on the steering wheel of a car. That test was spectacular, filling the car with more sound than I would think possible from such a small device. We then tried on the window... it didn't work so well. This really showed that some surfaces work better than others. Soon I began to think of it as a novelty/trivial as my phone speaker showed to be louder in most cases. That was until I got home and tried more surfaces. Doors, appliances, and mostly boxes provided for more sound. All it is great on low, bass ends (something my computer speakers fail at). ...Pretty much, the thing that sold the device for me was finding an old GameCube box, its about 1' sqd and 5" deep. and provided for the best and loudest sound so far. To conclude, I think this is a great little device. You just need to play with it. Haha. Also, it is a cheap alternative to expensive speakers. Buy two, and get two nice sized boxes. oh... one down side is, the sticky pad kind of wears out fast. but these can be cleaned or replaced on their website. Have a nice day. December 1, 2012
Rocking gift! I got one of these today as a gift that my sister got for me and wow it is cool! Worked really good on my garbage can and milk carton. Getting some of these for my co-workers as holiday gifts. November 20, 2012
