So far so good
I recently bought two pairs of these boot shapers and they work well for their purpose. It's a little bit difficult to squeeze the plastic pieces together towards the bottom of the boot, but once you get them in, the boots stay nice and tall. If they were lined with fabric, it would be tough to slip them in the boot. The plastic allows them to fit in and take out with ease. I would recommend these boot shapers.

so far so good
I own a pair of boots that look almost identical to these in the ad here. And even though mine are actually part of a halloween costume, I do want to keep them nice so I can wear for many years. I had them hanging from clip hangers in my closet because they won't stand up by themselves. I came across this product yesterday and snatched them up, came home and immediately put to use. I do wish the plastic was covered w/ some type of fabric, but that's not a deal breaker. They work perfectly in my boots and the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I haven't had to remove, re-insert multiple times so I dont yet know how durable they are. But, for my purposes of long time storage = thumbs up!!

Get what you pay for
I have a couple of types of boot trees.
These are the cheapest worst made of the two
The other has continued to do what they are designed to do for years..
This one fell apart allmost immediately.
That little metal spring has a place on the plastic that it fits into. and you'll always be putting it back together ad nauseaum
Seldom have I ever gotten a product without a brand name from this company that was worth hauling home.
I quit buying from BBB
The last I bought I reported the product and got a mirade of excuses why I was wrong.

Easy to use
Bought these and plastic boxes to help store my boots this year. I can't see the boxes online but they are made by Iris and are perfect size for my knee high boots.
The boot shapers are easy to squeeze together and fit nicely in each boot. I am sure the combination of the boxes and shapers will help my boots look nice and last for many years. The only reason I gave four stars is I would have preferred the plastic to be covered with some sort of soft material. I don't like plastic touching leather; I have lined the plastic boxes with tissue paper to avoid this. I guess I could cover the shapers with a long sock to add another layer of protect.
