A pressure cooker is indispensable in providing easy, healthy and flavorful cooking. While the pressure cooker provides quicker food preparation it also retains essential nutrients. All you have to do is fill with ingredients, lock lid and begin cooking. Cooking time is reduced up to 70%. The safety lock on the handle of this 4-quart pressure cooker measuring 9" in diameter prevents opening before all pressure is released. Pressure build-up is avoided with the two independent over-pressured release valves. For even heat distribution this 18/10 stainless steel pressure cooker features an aluminum sandwich base. Spring-type mechanism with one pressure setting: High (15psi). Works on gas, electric, ceramic and induction stoves. Pot is dishwasher safe. Ten-year warranty. UL listed.

poorly made
As i have used pressure cookers for many many yrs. i decided to get rid of my aluminum pressure cookers and buy stainless steel . i bought two Fagors i started to use the Splendid and within two weeks the handle broke ON ITS OWN never dropped or abused it, i may add most of my items i have owned for many many yrs . so i decided to use my NEWfagor duo i removed it from the box only to find the pressure relief valve was defective it popped out and that is right out of the box i suggest anything but a high priced substandard item. shame on Fagor

excellent product
My mother has this one and it works perfectly. Easy to use and clean. I recommend this one for any level cook.
