Careful!
We've had this set for 4 years now. As the other reviews show, they break or ship easily. MY biggest complaint- they get scorching hot after heating them up in the microwave unless the plate is completely loaded with food. I've broken some of these dishes simply because when I start pulling them out of the microwave, I have to let go immediately due to their temperature and they drop to the floor. NOT kid friendly. I like the look, but for safety purposes, I will not buy this brand again.

Love them!
I'm not sure what the customers below me are doing with their dishes, but I've had this set of dishes since 2009 and none of them have cracked. They have been used for everyday dishes for dinners, lunches, and breakfast. I use them in the microwave and the dishwasher, and they still look new to me. The only issue I have with these dishes is that they are no longer available in the stores! Highly recommend them. I can use them every day as well as for dinner parties, my guests always compliment them.

Great looking, but crack easily
We registered for these for our wedding, and received 3 sets in April of 2010. Within the first 8 months, two of the large plates cracked in the microwave when re-heating food... even though they are supposed to be diswasher and microwave safe. We're really careful with them, and haven't had any other problems with chipping, but are down two large plates. Still love the design, just disappointed in the quality.
Family members have had the circular Nova plates for years without problems so maybe they are better made.

Not for everyday use
Although this set is beautiful and they are recommended for everyday use, none of our dishes have held up, there are cracks and chips in every single piece, except for mugs because we BARELY use these. We never let the kids use them, they use plastic plates. But even cutting a piece of chicken on the plate (during dinner time) caused a giant crack down the center. Pulling them out of dishwasher, I've heard them cracking in my hands. (I have 4 little ones--don't have time to handwash) We got 4 sets for our wedding three years ago and are down to one set. I even bought replacements! Don't waste your money, not if these are supposed to be your everyday plates.
