Ridiculously oversized
This butter dish is oversized and will not fit in the butter compartment of my refrigerator. I would have sent it back to Mikasa.com but the return shipping fees came to more than half the purchase price, so it wasn't worth it.

Great quality but large
Purchased this specialty dish to compliment the set of Italian Countryside I have had for years. The quality of the butter dish is good but I would have preferred a slightly smaller design--perhaps a narrow rectangular dish as opposed to the oval.
