Pot Holders/Mitts/Towels:
Calphalon Kitchen Towel Ensembles, 100% Cotton
Bright colors and soft, durable, absorbent cotton make these kitchen textiles a great addition to any kitchen. Kitchen towels and dish cloths are made from 100% combed cotton, are yarn dyed and pre-washed, and are treated with an antimicrobial agent to inhibit the growth of bacterial odors on the fabric and to control deterioration of the fabric caused by mildew. Oven mitts and pot holders are made from 100% heavy cotton twill and are silicone treated on both sides for left and right handed use. Silicone allows for better grip on hot cookware and is heat resistant up to 500° F. Oven mitt measures 14" L and has a flannel interior. Pot holder measures 6" W x 10" L. Kitchen towel measures 17" W x 30" L. Dish cloth measures 14" W x 14" L. All include hang loop for easy storage. Machine wash. Imported.

Plaid, yes...solid, no!
I received these towels as a wedding gift. I have found that the plaid towels are really absorbent, but the solid towels are not. I thought it might have been because they are new, but I've had them for a couple months now and they have been through multiple washes. They are still not absorbent! It is so annoying! I can't dry anything with the solid towel!

Plaid, not solid
I recommend the plaid towel... it's absorbent, well made, and looks good wash after wash. Since I loved the plaid towel so much, I bought a solid black towel to better match my kitchen appliances. The black towel's absorbency was inferior and I will be replacing it with another plaid one.

Used to be a great quality....
Calphalon used to make the best towels. Now, they are thin and the one I purchased last week started unraveling in its first use. You're better off buying the less expensive Kitchensmart towels.

Great towels
I received the green plaid towels as a bridal shower gift and think they are great! They are very soft and absorbent and are the perfect size. I will continue to buy Calphalon towels from now on!
