Not sure which part of "hand wash" confused the other reviewer. These wooden utensils are great. Very durable.

Too Big for my hands
Since I'm a new gluten free gal due to my celiac diagnosis, I asked for some new wooden spoons for Christmas. I got 3 of the Calphalon wooden spoons & they were too big for my medium sized hands. They seamed to be made for someone with large hands or for men. If you are petite and have small hands, I wouldn't buy this brand. Also, they fade in the dishwasher so don't try it.
