Great For The Price!
I bought this about two or three years ago, and i used it on the beach, in the shower, in the house, outside, by the pool. It's an insanely great buy for the cost, i got three great years of plenty use out of this little thing before i'm due for a new one! It's plenty loud, and actually holds it's own! I LOVED THIS LITTLE THING! Cannot wait for my new one to get here!

Worth the $10
I purchased this 4 years ago. It has worked great but the screw in the battery compartment has now broken. :( I am going tomorrow to purchase a new one. The only complaint I have is it is hard to find radio stations because of the small knob, but for $10 it's worth it!

a real lemon
I have had several of these, and none of them worked after I changed the batteries.
Fool me once, twice, three times

For $10 it's worth it
Prior to buying this particular shower radio I was gifted a different one that BB&B carried, that one didn't work so I went with this one. I wanted to first say that if you get one that doesn't work make sure it's not your batteries and you can always exchange for one that does work should that be the case.
With that out of the way....
I have had the pink Conair shower radio for a good 6 or 7 years. For $10 that's pretty awesome!
I always made sure to tighten the back when replacing batteries to prevent water leaking in and ruining the product. If the radio fell into the shower and got wet and the sounds muffled all I did was shake the water out and it worked like normal again.
It was easy enough for my young daughter to use but we're not channel changers. I liked that it wasn't easy to bump and accidently change the station or the volume without meaning to.
Sadly I have to bury my pink Conair shower radio. :( The batteries gave out and upon further inspection my batteries leaked and left the inside a bit messy.
On the positive side I can run out and pick up a new one and it won't cost me an arm and a leg. I did look at other radios thinking I might find something different but really for $10 you can't go wrong with this (as long as the one you buy works right out of the package!).
I see others have had problems with this so is you're leary why not buy it, open it and pop some batteries in it before leaving the parking lot, if it doesn't work you can return it for one that does. :)
It's a great small radio for the price and can be thrown in a bag for the beach or for outside or to bring along to a park.
