Matelasse Coverlet The Coventry Collection
I love this coverlet. I really wanted a quilt but after searching for several years I could not find one the right color white and this is perfect. I didn't think I would be happy with it being lightweight so I passed it up but now I am glad -- being a king it is much easier to wash. It was wrinkled from being packaged so I washed it. It came out perfect and did not need any ironing. It is oversized, which is hard to find. It did shrink slightly but not enough to matter. You can't go wrong on the price either. I would buy it again.

Pleasantly Surprised
I wanted to create a custom look for my bed with white bedding and colored pillows. I already had a down alternative comforter with a white duvet on my bed, but I needed something more decorative to go over it. This coverlet is exactly what I needed, but didn't know it until I bought it and tried it. I never thought I would like a coverlet or quilt. This works great over the cozy, not-so-pretty comforter you use to sleep with. I put it on top, folded it over and it looks full, elegant and dressed up.

Liked it so much, I bought a second.
I bought the ivory for our master bedroom- we wanted something lightweight as we live in a hot climate and have a down duvet and cover at the foot of the bed for colder nights. We also have dogs and a toddler, so we didn't want to spend a lot in case it got stained or fell apart in the laundry. It has been through the washer and dryer over and over and still looks great. In fact, we loved it so much, that we bought the white when we re-did our room! That one, too, has taken a beating and still looks great! They do shrink a bit each time they are washed, but it was fairly big to begin with so it's not really an issue.

Disappointed
I chose this coverlet for my daughters room and thought it was exactly what I wanted. I would have returned it if not for my daughter drawing on it with a marker. I washed it 5 times and it is still as stiff as it was coming out of the package. The detailing is pretty but it is pressed not quilted and VERY thin. Quite a disappointment after having my mom get it from the closest store 4 hrs away. Would look nice on a bed that is never slept in.
