It's okay
I bought this towels today in red. I was disappointed by how much the towel shed after I wash them. The towels dried fine and I was pleased with how soft the towels were. The towels will do for the price.

Nice
These towels are really good. I bought another brand towel recently and it was like sandpaper compared to this one. This is a soft and absorbent towel. The bath towel is plenty big enough for most folks and the colors are good. I would certainly recommend these.

Soft yes, good buy, no
The second time I washed the towels I noticed that there were a couple of large white patches on them (the towels started out light green in color). I do not use beach so that wasn't the problem. I didn't return them because I wondered if it was whitening toothpaste that caused the problem. I've since purchased three other brands of towels and all of them have held their color nicely (no stains and we still use whitening toothpaste), although my Target towel purchase has several pulls in it. The Duet towel is now quite faded after several washings and overall, I am most dissatisified with the Duet towel.

Soft, cozy, durable
We've had the pewter and white towels for about 4 yrs, and added the new blue a while back. These towels are soft and quick to dry us off. Daily use by my husband and I, with weekly to bi-weekly use on our 2 pups (golden retriever and cocker spainiel). The towels have held up great over time with no discoloration that we have noticed.
I love the bath sheets. My side of the family ranges from 5'-10" to 6'-10". So, we all appreciate the larger size towels.
I'm updating our guest bath with these towels now and saw the mixed reviews. My guess is that overuse or misuse of bleach lead to the problems with wear and tear. We wash weekly with no special treatment (normal detergent, bleach if needed rarely, fabric softener, etc.) I have recommended these towels to all of our friends that recently wed for their registry.
