We purchased 6 when we moved into our home 5 years ago. In the last 2 weeks 2 have burned out. I would say, a light lasting 5 years was beter than good.

it won't turn off.
there's no swich to turn off in the morning.
I had to unplug each morning untill stopped using it .

the best one I have ever had. It lasted for years without a really bright light, but enough to see where I was going. I love that it is very flat against the wall.
