the probe wire could be more substantial but for now they are replacing it when it breaks.
we bought it after a friend suggested it. She loved it. We are now recommending it to our other friends.

oneida digital probe thermometer
I LOVE this thermometer. I had one for several years which would still be working if I hadn't carelessly burned the probe wire on my gas burner. I was slightly disappointed to find that the probe wire is now covered in plastic, the old one was wire. It is still an incredible deal for the price and I highly recommend it.

LOVE this
I purchased this oven thermometer several years ago. It is wonderful and would still be working perfectly if I hadn't accidentally let the probe wire get into the gas burner flame!! I highly recommend this, it beats out even the higher priced thermometers...just keep it away from your stove burners!

Love this thermometer!
I bought this right before Thanksgiving and used it when roasting turkey and also when baking the dressing in casserole dish -- worked great -- love it!
